La vitamine D3 est une vitamine liposoluble qui contribue au fonctionnement normal du système immunitaire, à l'absorption/utilisation du calcium et du phosphore, au maintien d'os normaux, à une fonction musculaire normale, au maintien de dents normales et contribue également à des niveaux normaux de calcium dans le sang. Avec le calcium, la vitamine D aide également à réduire la perte de minéraux osseux chez les femmes ménopausées.

Les compléments alimentaires ne doivent pas être utilisés comme substitut d'une alimentation variée et équilibrée et d'un mode de vie sain.
Enfants de la naissance à 1 an, une goutte par jour à prendre par voie orale, ou ajoutée à de l'eau ou du jus. Les enfants de 1 à 12 ans peuvent augmenter jusqu'à deux gouttes par jour sur les conseils d'un professionnel de la santé. Adultes et enfants de plus de 12 ans, une à cinq gouttes par jour. Ne pas dépasser la dose journalière recommandée, sauf avis contraire d'une personne dûment qualifiée.
