- Our perfumer Jean JACQUES imagined an explosion of spices that jumps out instantly on the nose. Black pepper, recognizable by its woody, fresh and bursting note, immediately expresses its nervous power. To make it even more full-bodied, Jean JACQUES married it with a mixture of hot spices (saffron, with leathery notes and cumin) and fresh (coriander seeds and nutmeg). Aromatic and woody at the same time, the essence of elemi, a resin originating from the Philippines, offers an ideal transition between this spicy opening and the woody incense that envelops it in its mysterious trail. Dark Labdanum (amber and warm resin), patchouli (woody and smoky), modern woody notes… Poivre Sacré leaves its warm and powerful imprint, evoking the oriental scents of precious and bewitching oud. Poivre Sacré lives up to its name, as a reminiscence of the origins of the perfume.
