- Ultra Chloraseptic Blackcurrant flavour throat spray provides fast-acting relief from sore throats. This pocket-sized sore throat spray contains the active ingredient benzocaine, which is a local anaesthetic that gets to work directly where it hurts, without numbing your whole mouth. Each bottle comes with a convenient swivel head and nozzle, which can be adjusted to help ensure targeted application of the spray. Simply spray 3 times to the back of your throat and enjoy gentle yet effective pain relief in seconds. Ultra Chloraseptic comes in a compact bottle that is convenient to use on the move, but don’t be fooled by the handy size as each bottle contains over 100 sprays of sore throat relief. While your body fights off your cough or cold, you can help to keep the pain of a sore throat at bay day or night with Ultra Chloraseptic, wherever you are. Ultra Chloraseptic benzocaine sprays are suitable for adults and children over 13 years of age, as well as children aged 6 and above when supervised by an adult.
- Active Ingredient: Benzocaine 0.71% w/v (1mg per spray) Also contains Ethanol, Macrogol 300, Propylene Glycol, Glycerol, Cetylpyridinium Chloride, Saccharin Sodium, Sodium Dihydrogen Phosphate Dihydrate, Sodium Hydroxide, Flavourings (Levomenthol), Purified Water
- Read the enclosed leaflet first before using this medicine. Adults and teenagers: do not spray into the eyes. Activate pump (see leaflet). Hold breath. Spray 3 times to back of throat. Repeat every 2-3 hours if required. Do not use for more than 8 times a day. Do not use for more than 3 days in a row. Children 6-12 years: see leaflet for directions. Use only under adult supervision. Do not exceed the stated dose. Do not use in a child under 6 years old. If you have difficulty in breathing, noisy breathing, or sever difficulty in swallowing. If you know you are allergic to benzocaine or any of the other ingredients. If you have been told you have a rare blood condition called methaemoglobinaemia. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding. Consult your doctor if your sore throat is severe or prolonged, or accompanied by fever, headache, or feeling sick. Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
