Composty kitchen sponges have been carefully designed by us - a UK family business. We have created them to be jam-packed with eco-friendly features and also offer superior cleaning performance. They are that good that we have found that anyone who tries them, wants to stick with them! They are not just a whiz as a dish sponge. Our sponges are multi-use & come in a selection of 3 colours. Use your favourite colours first, or organise your sponges in the style of Mrs Hinch. How about 'pink for the sink', 'blue for the loo' and 'green to clean' (surfaces)? Composty sponges are made of natural cellulose sponge (wood pulp) - but they feel different from others on the market. They are designed to be soft to the touch, yet tough and long-lasting. They have a strong textured 'feel' which helps to provide superior cleaning performance. Before use they teeny-tiny! A pack of traditional sponges take up a lot of room in your store cupboards, but this isn't the case with Composty sponges. Not only does the reduced size make your cupboards feel a bit roomier, but it also reduces the product's carbon footprint through delivery and packaging. Pop-Up! To expand sponges to their normal size, simply soak in water for a few seconds. They are around 11.5cm x 7.5cm x 1.4cm when expanded - but 90% smaller before. You can easily cut them to different sizes. 100% cellulose sponge has many benefits. You can compost them after use - along with all the packaging too!
